Paper bill redesign
The current utility bill has been serving the entire Singapore nation for more than 20 years. The client wanted to improve customers' understanding (reducing calls), encourage self-help and promote energy and water conservation.
SCOPE OF WORK
Identified types of billpayers to understand their lifestyle, payment needs and patterns. Examined the current bill to identify usability issues. Benchmarked against other bills within and outset of industry to identify design and IA trends. Designed and tested 4 different prototypes with public to arrive at the final design.
